A color indexed interactive video jukebox
EXPLANATION
A live video from a camera is converted into a 16x12 pixel video mosaic. Each individual video is picked because of a color match for that specific pixel.
The matrix of all videos as a whole reflects the original live camera image.
People standing in front of the installation can request and view clips by showing items with a certain color to the camera.

SET-UP A camera invites people to control the enormous projected mosaic on the wall. Depending on the colors of the pixels of the recorded image, the mosaic shows a mosaic of playing videoclips, matching the color of each pixel. |
